  Firstly second time back, first time 40 min. wait for a basic meal. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, we were seated and ordered our meals after being deliberately ignored to cater for locals after 30 minutes, had to ask 3 times for wine glasses, then proceeded to watch people being served meals an hour after we first there, continued to wait for 1 1/2 hours we decided to leave and inform owner how disappointed and hungry we were, with no apologies or a care in the world tried to give us a bag of scraps to smooth things over, NOT ON. Get some class and get some manners!

  Every dish has its own distinct taste. It the best restaurant in town. I love it so much all I can say is Yum.. Yum.. And more yum! Excellent service food is out quickly. Price is really good too

  Have been to the Happy Elephant a few times and each time has been a very pleasant experience...meals good with lovely ambience. But this latest time just didn't seem to do it. Food was not quiet as good, there were more patrons on this occassion and there was different (new?) staff. It was still OK...but just not how it has been. I'll give it another go.
